Microsoft recently promised that Facebook Messenger would arrive on Windows Phone soon, and the messaging app is now available on Windows Store. As compared to iOS and Android, it has taken some time to launch on Windows Phone.Facebook recently announced the news on Twitter and said "Messenger for Windows Phone is now available for download."
You can download Facebook Messenger app (Version 3.0.12.0) from Windows Phone Store Here. This app is free and has a lots of features like picture messaging, group chats, stickers. In new messaging app location sharing is also enabled plus you can manage and view contacts on the service too.
According to the Windows Phone blog, "With Facebook messenger, you will be able to see who is online or offline, group or private chat, send private messages, and bring messages to life with stickers and pictures. By using Facebook messenger app you can also share your location so people can know if you are nearby. After adding Facebook messenger app Facebook friends automatically added to the People tab for you start chat share photos, send messages and you can even import new contacts.
