Google Now Launcher Released For Play Edition Devices And Nexus Running Android 4.4

After months of speculations and leaks, the news is confirmed that Google has finally released Google Now Launcher (which was previously know informally at the Google experience launcher), seen originally on the Google Nexus 5, as standalone application available via the Play Store.This is an updated stub application that will enable functions of home screen in the Google search application on most Android devices.However the new launcher is not a universal release.

Google Now Launcher (Official Version) is only installable on the Google Play edition devices and Nexus devices running KitKat. Devices running on Custom ROM's based on KitKat (like Cyanogenmod 11) may also be compatible. Also note that Nexus 10 still does not have transparent bars.

They don't appear to be any new and unique features. This is still the same layout with Customizable home screen panels and Google Now Panel.
